Salga
Salga cleaned her axe on the paladins cloak before going through the mans belongings for valuables. He gurgled his protest, but was unable to do much more. “Do not worry little man,” Salga replied, smiling into the dying mans eyes, “you’ll be dead soon enough. Don’t feel to bad about it,” she laughed softly,” you put up a hell of a fight.” She gestured to the deep gash across her chest. “Not many have the skill to inflict such a wound upon me. Your god is no doubt proud of you.” Salga thought this must have brought peace to the mans heart, his face softened into a pained smile and his eyes closed.
Upon packing up the mans valuables, she checked to see if he was still alive. “Still with us?” she cooed “Worry not, your god will call you home this day.” She was impressed with the little mans resolve, to breathe yet after the grievous wounds he suffered was no small task. He must be in a tremendous amount o

The Fall
The wizard sleeps, but is not at rest. His noble face is twisted with horror, weak unintelligible cries break from his lips. You seem to be floating above him, like a mote of dust, drawing ever closer. The warm light of the fireplace dims to blackness as you seem to pass through his forehead, and you hear a cold voice like the rumbling of distant thunder rolling through his mind.
“I am of the Darkwood forest. The towering trees, whose canopy towers over the greatest of beasts, the Icevein river that charges through its heart.  All those who call this their home, from those who crawl through the deadfall, never knowing the sun, to those who live above the canopy, never touching the earth except in death, these know me. I am of them, as they are of me. I am of the Darkwood forest, it breathes for me, and I speak its words.”
Fire flashes before your eyes, images of blight and disease, and the sound of brutal conflict echoes in your ears. The cries of the dying, and those

RETRIBUTION
It was late evening, nearly dusk, when the guards noticed a tall man scrambling frantically up the road towards the city. He fell several times in his haste, and each time it took him a little longer to regain his feet. The man was obviously fatigued, and he was injured, perhaps severely, but fear was evident above all. As he climbed to his feet and resumed his ungainly sprint toward the city, one of the guardsmen cried out. "It's the priest! Open the gates! it's old man Caleb!"
The Constable, hearing the guards' cry, immediately dropped what he was doing and hurried down the steps to meet his old friend. The gates were open by the time he rounded the last corner, and two guards were helping the battered old priest walk.
The sun was nearly set, but there was still enough light to see the wounds on the old mans arms and face, and the blood on his shredded vestments. In spite of his condition, the old priest refused medical attention, insisting upon talking to the constable a

Tried again when I wasn't so tired. came out a wee bit different.

You Are A:

True Neutral Half-Orc Monk (6th Level)

Ability Scores:
Strength- 15
Dexterity- 16
Constitution- 17
Intelligence- 15
Wisdom- 13
Charisma- 13

Alignment:
True Neutral- A true neutral character does what seems to be a good idea. He doesn't feel strongly one way or the other when it comes to good vs. evil or law vs. chaos. Most true neutral characters exhibit a lack of conviction or bias rather than a commitment to neutrality. Such a character thinks of good as better than evil after all, he would rather have good neighbors and rulers than evil ones. Still, he's not personally committed to upholding good in any abstract or universal way. Some true neutral characters, on the other hand, commit themselves philosophically to neutrality. They see good, evil, law, and chaos as prejudices and dangerous extremes. They advocate the middle way of neutrality as the best, most balanced road in the long run. True neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you act naturally, without prejudice or compulsion. However, true neutral can be a dangerous alignment when it represents apathy, indifference, and a lack of conviction.

Race:
Half-Orcs are the short-tempered and sullen result of human and orc pairings. They would rather act than ponder and would rather fight than argue. They love simple pleasures, such as feasting, boasting, and wild dancing. They are an asset at the right sort of party, but not at the duchess's grand ball. Half-orcs are as tall as humans but their brutish features betray their lineage. They regard scars as tokens of pride and things of beauty. They rarely reach 75 years of age.

Class:
Monks- Monks are versatile warriors skilled at fighting without weapons or armor. Good-aligned monks serve as protectors of the people, while evil monks make ideal spies and assassins. Though they don't cast spells, monks channel a subtle energy, called ki. This energy allows them to perform amazing feats, such as healing themselves, catching arrows in flight, and dodging blows with lightning speed. Their mundane and ki-based abilities grow with experience, granting them more power over themselves and their environment. Monks suffer unique penalties to their abilities if they wear armor, as doing so violates their rigid oath. A monk wearing armor loses their Wisdom and level based armor class bonuses, their movement speed, and their additional unarmed attacks per round.

Okay, six questions.
6. Will the European Union fail?
2. Is German beer the best in the world?
1. Am I doomed to rot in this life of economic slavery?
5. When will I actively get back into my writing?
4. As a Djinn, do you find it difficult to find sexual partners who aren't terrified of you?
3. Does it bother you that I numbered these out of order?

AH, BUT I LOVE ME SOME GATLING FIRE. IN ORDER OF APPEARANCE:
6: NOT COMPLETELY. AS LONG AS THERE IS A NEED TO DO THINGS TOGETHER, AND THERE IS, THERE WILL BE A UNION IN SOME FORM OR OTHER. MIGHT BE THAT THE CURRENT MAKE-UP OF THE EU WILL HAVE TO CHANGE TO ACCOMODATE THE NEEDS OF ITS PEOPLE, SUCH AS THEY ARE IN THIS CENTURY THOUGH. I HOPE THEY REALISE THAT.
2: *BUZZER SOUND* NO. www.westvleterenbeers.com/
1: BEING A VAGABOND IS OVERRATED, SADLY. YET THE CONCEPT OF PACKING LIGHT IS A GOOD ONE: MAKING CONSCIOUS DECISIONS ABOUT THINGS THAT YOU GET TIED UP IN, WETHER THAT IS WORK, DEBT, COMMUTE, APPLIANCES, PROPERTY... HELPS.
5: YOU SHOULD KEEP A NOTEBOOK. IT MOVES THE 'COMING UP WITH THINGS' PHASE TO THE TIME BETWEEN WRITING SESSIONS.
4: I HAVE FOUND IT REQUIRES ME TO SHAVE. AND WEAR A SPORTS BRA
3: NAH TOO MANY THINGS OUT THERE THAT ARE MORE BOTHER-WORTHY. I'LL SAVE MY KING JAMES BIBLE ENGLISH FOR THOSE.

OH WISE AND MIGHTY DJIN!
Your human has informed me that I have five questions to ask of you. As I am mind-fogged from these damn twelve hour nights at work, I'm going to take a different angle at these. I would like five plot points (minor or major) to try to add to one of my story lines. They can be as specific or generic as you'd like, and don't be afraid to throw me a curveball. If I cannot incorporate all five, I will admit defeat, and you may ask five questions of me. Deal?

(Warning: the Djinn speaks in caps)

THE DJINN APPRECIATES YOUR SPORTSMANSHIP AND WILL PROVIDE YOU WITH WHAT YOU REQUESTED. FROM MAJOR TO MINOR, HERE ARE YOUR PLOT POINTS:

1. YOU WILL INCLUDE ONE INSTANCE OF Want vs. Need IN YOUR WORK. THIS WORKS BEST WITH A PROTAGONIST, BUT DON'T LET THAT STOP YOU.
2. FOR DIVERSITY, YOU WILL INCLUDE A HANDICAPPED PERSON WHOSE HANDICAP IS NOT THEIR MOST DECIDING CHARACTERISTIC, AND WHO PROVES VERY USEFUL FOR YOUR MAIN CHARACTER(S).
3. YOU WILL INDLUDE A DJINN (I'D HAVE PUT THIS ON 4TH PLACE BUT I DON'T BELIEVE IN FALSE MODESTY)
4. YOU WILL PROVIDE YOUR PROTAGONIST WITH SOMETHING ELSE TO DRINK BESIDES MEAD, ALE, WINE OR WATER, AND SOMEHOW THIS WILL HAVE AN EFFECT ON THE PLOT (OR ONE OF THE SUB-PLOTS)
5. INCLUDE A PET OF DIMINUTIVE SIZE OR SMALLER. KEEP IT ALIVE FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STORY.

NOW GO GET THAT MUSE IN GEAR AND WRITE
